§ Dr. BoysonAberdeen North, Elgin and Peterhead DHSS local offices serve the constituency, but the boundaries are not conterminous. There are a large number of ways in which work load is counted in DHSS local offices. The major one for supplementary benefit is the number of cases handled. The percentage increase in the number of supplementary benefit cases handled in each office each year is shown in the table. There is no one equivalent measure for contributory benefit cases.
