§ Dr. BoysonI assume the hon. Member is referring to the closure of the old people's home in Church road, Erdington. The amount quoted in my reply on 26 June, at columns417–18, was based on assessments which included amounts allowed for board and lodging under regulation 9 as well as personal expenses allowances and other requirements. However, it is not possible to identify separately the items which payment of supplementary benefit is intended to meet in cases where claimants are also in receipt of income from other sources.
