HC Deb 02 July 1984 vol 63 c23W
Mrs. Clwyd

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what factors he took into account when setting the level of redundancy compensation for employees of the Land Authority for Wales; what comparisons he made with compensation terms payable in similar circumstances (a) to civil servants and (b) to employees of other public bodies in Wales to which he makes appointments; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

In deciding upon the proposals which have been the subject of consultation with the Land Authority for Wales, the views previously expressed by the authority and the compensation arrangements applicable elsewhere in the public sector, including the Civil Service and other public bodies in Wales, were taken into account.
