HC Deb 02 July 1984 vol 63 cc44-5W
Mr. Proctor

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what further steps he proposes to take to reform the common agricultural policy.

Mr. Jopling

Her Majesty's Government will continue to press for expenditure on the common agricultural policy to be constrained and made more cost-effective by pressure on common prices and other reforms of individual commodity regimes, and by the implementation of a guideline for agricultural expenditure.
