asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish in the Official Report the total number of patients waiting for hospital treatment for each year since 1978 at Orsett hospital, Thurrock.

This hospital did not report any persons waiting specifically for admission to the specialty of ear, nose and throat in 1982. It is not possible to identify from central sources the number of patients, if any, who were awaiting admission to other specialties for ear, nose and throat treatment.
