HC Deb 26 January 1984 vol 52 cc691-2W
Mr. Terlezki

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what measures he is taking to prevent the delivery to the Soviet Union of high technology of military value.

Mr. Pattie

Mr. Stanley

The term "dishonourable discharge" does not have a distinct meaning in the services' disciplinary rules. The total number of administrative discharges on the grounds of services no longer required and the number of dismissals from the service resulting from convictions by disciplinary proceedings in 1981–83 were as follows:

has also been controlled. The embargo lists are updated and revised on a regular basis. Increased attention is being given to the enforcement of these export controls.
