§ 55. Mr. Maxtonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if the Government will press at the next meeting of the Council of Ministers for real reductions in support prices for those products in structural surplus within the Community.
§ Mr. RifkindYes. Our aim is to secure real price reductions for products in structural surplus, particularly milk and cereals, as well as the introduction of strengthening of guarantee thresholds for all products for which economic outlets are limited. We shall press for these in all the relevant Community discussions.
