HC Deb 17 January 1984 vol 52 c205W
Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the structural damage to watch towers and other facilities at Greenham common by storm and weather conditions on the night of 2–3 January.

Mr. Stanley

A number of watch towers were brought down by heavy winds at RAF Greenham common on the night of 2–3 January. They have since been repaired. There was also some temporary and localised interruption to external lighting.
