HC Deb 17 January 1984 vol 52 c191W
Mr. Golding

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will take steps to provide relief for the bloodstock industry following the Government's decision that horses are no longer to be regarded as agricultural animals for tax purposes.

Mr. Moore

No such decision has been taken. This is a matter for the courts to determine. At this stage, I can add nothing to the answer given to my hon. Friend the Member for Staffordshire, South (Mr. Cormack) on 23 November 1983.—[Vol. 49, c. 770.]
