§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will seek, in dicussions with the management of the skillcentre training agency, to ensure that there is no reduction in the skillcentre provision in Wales in 1984–85 compared with 1983–84.
§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe skillcentre training agency will be operating on a full trading account basis from April 1984 and its business plans for 1984–85 and beyond are yet to be considered by the Manpower Services Commission. Its level of operations will depend on demand. I will certainly look to see that in its plans for Wales it responds positively to the skill requirements of Welsh industry.
