asked the Secretary of State for Employment what are (a) the estimated current capital cost of dispersing the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate from London to Bootle and (b) the estimated recurrent costs of the dispersal.

It is not possible to separate the costs for the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate from those for the other parts of the Health and Safety Executive which are dispersing to Merseyside over the period 1983–85.
