HC Deb 16 January 1984 vol 52 c126W
Mr. Dobson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services why his answer of 19 December, Official Report, c. 61, states that the Huntingdon district health authority spent £466,526 on catering contracts in 1982–83 when its total expenditure on catering was only £269,125.

Mr. Kenneth Clarke

I regret the table published in theOfficial Report contained a few printing errors, the amendment of which I am arranging. Their effect was not significant except in the case of Huntingdon district health authority where the figures should have read:

£
Catering
Total expenditure 269,125
Private contracts Nil
Domestic/cleaning
Total expenditure 466,526
Private contracts 21
Laundry
Total expenditure 80,364
Private contracts Nil
