Mr. Campbell

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) how many children's wards were closed in National Health Service hospitals at the end of 1981 and at the end of 1982 in each district health authority area;

(2) how many children's wards have closed in National Health Service hospitals in each year since 1974 in each district health authority area.
