However, I am informed by the Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work that between 8 and 10 per cent. of all students accepted for CQSW courses since 1981 have been non-British. The central council will publish shortly the results of the survey from which the information was taken.

I understand however, that the Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work publishes an annual report on applications; the latest being for the 1982 intake. The report includes information on the academic qualifications of those accepted for CQSW courses.
