Mr. Janner

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will arrange for an exhibition relating to the silver jubilee year of Cruse, the National Organisation for the Widowed and their Children, to be displayed in the Upper Waiting Hall.

Mr. Newton

My noble Friend the Under-Secretary of State has already indicated his willingness for the Department to sponsor such an exhibition by Cruse. He wrote to this effect to my hon. Friend the Member for Woodspring (Mr. Dean) in November last year. We have a high regard for value of Cruse's work.
