asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether the conditions applying to the granting of a mobility allowance for persons whose disability arises from poliomyelitis differ from those whose disability arises from other causes.

No. Mobility allowance is available to people who are unable or virtually unable to walk due to physical disablement, irrespective of the cause of that disablement.
