§ Sir John Biggs-Davisonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement about the distribution of Government publications among inmates of Her Majesty's prisons in Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. ScottIn general, prisoners in Northern Ireland are allowed to purchase Government publications or to have them sent in by relatives; or a prisoner may, if he wishes, request such a publication through the prison library. Restrictions may be imposed, however, in particular cases on the grounds of discipline or good order or the prevention of crime.
