§ Mr. Peter MorrisonIn the year since Open Tech programme was launched, over 50 projects have been set up including important initiatives in priority areas of new technology, and supervisory and management training. This progress is an encouraging demonstration of the valuable contribution the programme is making to the Government's objective of improving training and retraining opportunities for adults, described in the recent White Paper "Training for Jobs"—Cmnd. 9135.
