§ Mr. Peter MorrisonFrom April 1982 to December 1983, 4,567 trainees entered the ITEC programme. No comprehensive data exist on the number of trainees offered full-time employment, but a survey conducted in March 1983 showed that between 65 and 70 per cent. of trainees leaving ITECs had obtained jobs or progressed to further training.
