§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what proposed amendments to section 2 of the Control of Pollution Act he will bring forward, in the light of Her Majesty's Government's plans to alter the structure of metropolitan government.
§ Mr. WaldegraveSubstantive amendment of section 2 is not proposed. It is envisaged that the borough and district councils will assume the obligations of waste disposal authorities under this section.
