asked the Secretary of State for Transport when he expects the Perivale underpass current road improvement on the A40 between Hoover's and the Target roundabout to be completed; and if he will make a statement.

I expect traffic to be using the new underpass by the end of the month. Substantial completion of the contract will be achieved by May which is three months sooner than anticipated when work started two years ago.
