Mr. Galley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what demographic changs have affected the financial resources available to the Calderdale health authority since 1974–75; and what has been the financial effect in real terms;

(2) what were the total resources, revenue and capital, available to the Yorkshire regional health authority and the Calderdale health authority in each financial year since 1974–75, expressed at constant prices.

The revenue and capital resources allocated to the Yorkshire RHA are given in the table at 1983–84 cash levels. Information on the resources made available by the Yorkshire RHA to Calderdale health authority and on the effects of demographic changes on them is not available centrally.
