§ Mr. Proctorasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list in the Official Report the names and nationalities of those persons who have been excluded or deported from the United Kingdom during the last five years under the provisions of the Immigration Act 1971.
§ Mr. WaddingtonInformation on the number of persons refused entry at ports, removed as illegal entrants or deported is published in "Control of Immigration: Statistics, United Kingdom". Table 1 of the issues for 1978 (Cmnd. 7576), 1979 (Cmnd. 7875), 1980 (Cmnd. 8199), 1981 (Cmnd. 8533) and 1982 (Cmnd. 8944) contains the information about those persons refused leave to enter; tables 15 and 16 of the issue for 1982 (Cmnd. 8944) contains historical information about the number of those removed as illegal entrants and deported respectively.
