HC Deb 09 February 1984 vol 53 c761W
Mr. Wallace

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he intends to introduce Government grants of 30 per cent. for Scottish frims investing in cavity wall insulation, draught proofing and ventilation controls.

Mr. Allan Stewart

The Government have no plans to introduce grants of that kind in Scotland. It is already in companies' best financial interests to invest in cost-effective energy conservation measures.
