asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when Her Majesty's Government expect to respond to the report of the review group on the youth services and on the review of the National Youth Bureau; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Brooke

My right hon. Friend expects consideration of the review group's outstanding recommendations to be completed in time for a Government response before Easter. Issues raised by the recently completed review of the national youth bureau are currently under consideration and decisions will be announced later.
