HC Deb 07 February 1984 vol 53 c554W
53. Mrs. Renée

Short asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many of Her Majesty's Schools Inspectorate have responsibility for computer technology.

Sir Keith Joseph

In general, Her Majesty's inspectors have a number of overlapping duties covering territorial, phase and subject concerns. It is intended that this number should be increased as a result of recruitment competitions currently in train.
