§ Mrs. ChalkerThe Northamptonshire police have been experimenting with various methods of controlling574W traffic speeds at road work sites on the M1. They now wish to compare the relative effectiveness of temporary mandatory speed limits, which are provided for in section 12 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1967, and advisory speed limits. This further experiment is likely to take place for a short period this summer.
