§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how much money he has paid in each of the past five years towards the administrative costs of housing associations in Scotland.
§ Mr. AncramExchequer grant is not paid directly on housing associations' administrative costs. The grant system does, however, make provision in this regard, chiefly through the system of allowances used in the calculation of capital grant for individual housing projects but also by way of the separate grants payable on admissible revenue deficits. Records are not kept separately of the totals of such allowances or of the administrative expenditure attracting deficit grants.
