§ Mr. Donald Stewartasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what the average selling price per hectare of forest land has been in (a) Scotland; (b) England and Wales, and (c) the United Kingdom under the Forestry Act 1981.
§ Mr. YoungerThe following are the average prices per hectare obtained by the Forestry Commission for sales of forest land—that is, plantations and associated land, and land awaiting planting—since the start of the present disposals programme in July 1981:
