asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement as to incidents reported by the French Government to Her Majesty's Government involving the accidental discharge of material from French nuclear sites.

Under the agreement signed in July 1983, the French Government inform Her Majesty's Government of incidents that could have radiological consequences in the United Kingdom. No incidents have been notified.
