§ Mr. Steenasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to hold a public inquiry into the proposed redevelopment of Clayton square, Liverpool; and if he will take steps to ensure that the listed buildings will not be allowed to deteriorate as a result of the extended delay in holding the inquiry.
§ Mr. MacfarlaneArrangements have been made for the public local inquiry to open on 25 April. In the meantime it is for individual owners to ensure that their buildings are kept in a reasonable state of repair.
