HC Deb 06 February 1984 vol 53 cc467-8W
Mr. Steen

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to hold a public inquiry into the proposed redevelopment of Clayton square, Liverpool; and if he will take steps to ensure that the listed buildings will not be allowed to deteriorate as a result of the extended delay in holding the inquiry.

Mr. Macfarlane

Arrangements have been made for the public local inquiry to open on 25 April. In the meantime it is for individual owners to ensure that their buildings are kept in a reasonable state of repair.
