§ Mr. Chris Patten[Pursuant to his reply; 23 January 1984, c. 516]: The Western health and social services board has been reconstituted on three occasions since May 1979: on 1 July 1979, 1 July 1981 and 1 July 1982. No members were appointed between May 1979 and 30 June 1979. Details of members appointed at each reconstitution, including subsequent appointments to fill casual vacancies, are as follows. The Department of Health and Social Services does not maintain lists of current occupations or religious affiliations of board members. Details of political affiliations are available only for those members nominated by district councils. I do not believe it would be in the interests of individuals who serve by accepting public appointments to publish home addresses; details are provided, therefore, only of the members' broad geographical base.
