§ Mr. Watsonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he can report any progress in his negotiations with other European Economic Community Ministers to reduce the continuing surpluses in dairy products.
§ Mr. JoplingThe Commission proposals for measures to reduce the Community milk surplus are being studied and discussed by officials of the member states. Agriculture Ministers will be meeting on 6 and 7 February. I will report back to the House on any significant developments which may take place at that meeting.
