24. Mr. Harris

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what further discussions he has had with his ministerial colleagues in the Council of Ministers since the Athens summit on the proposed reforms of the common agricultural policy.

28. Mr. Skinner

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what further discussions he has had with European Economic Community Ministers about the common agricultural policy; and if he will make a statement.

43. Mr. Ioan Evans

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what recent discussions he has had with Agriculture Ministers in the European Economic Community regarding the operation of the common agricultural policy.

Mr. Jopling

There was a brief discussion at the meeting of the Council of Ministers on 9–10 January. A further, more detailed discussion on the farm price proposals for 1984–85 and the proposals for reforming the common agricultural policy is expected at the next meeting on 6–7 February.
