asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government on the level of earnings of agricultural workers.

Minimum rates of pay for agricultural workers are set by the independent agricultural wages boards. Actual earnings above these levels are a matter for negotiation between employers and employees on the farm.
