Dr. McDonald

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, for each decile group in the income distribution, he will publish information showing the amount of taxes paid as a proportion of gross income broken down between (i) direct taxes, (ii) indirect taxes and (iii) all taxes for the most recent year or tax year available; and whether he will also show the average level of gross income in each of the income groups specified.
