§ Mr. Norman LamontThe future prospects of the printing industry lie very largely in the hands of those who work in it. A recent study commissioned by the Printing Industries EDC, on which representatives of management, Government and the unions sit, identified a number of weaknesses which the industry needs to tackle quickly if it is to compete effectively against foreign competition.
