HC Deb 18 December 1984 vol 70 c131W
Mr. Tony Banks

asked the Secretary of State for Transport what improvements have been initiated to the arrangements for interchange between London Regional Transport and British Rail, other than those already in hand or being planned, since the London Regional Transport Act came into effect.

Mrs. Chalker

While the London Regional Transport Bill was before Parliament, the operators began work on a review of interchanges. That work is now being carried forward under the auspices of the London Passenger Transport Group set up by my right hon. Friend after the London Regional Transport Act 1984 came into force. A number of interchange points are being examined with a view to identifying those where improvements could be of most benefit to travellers.
