§ Mr. Maddenasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, in the event of introduction of fees for entry certificates, he will instruct immigration officers in cases where prior entry clearance is optional, to decide whether to admit notwithstanding any absence of prior entry clearance.
§ Mr. WaddingtonThe introduction of a fee for entry certificates will not affect the examination of passengers by immigration officers in accordance with the immigration rules.
