HC Deb 14 December 1984 vol 69 c602W
Mr. Gordon Brown

asked the Attorney-General how many applications have been made by persons charged with offences related to picketing during the miners' dispute for legal aid; and how many have been accepted; and if he will list the figures in each area.

The Attorney-General

The statistics collected do not relate applications for legal aid to alleged offences. The information requested could not be obtained, except at disproportionate cost.
