§ Mr. Barry Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish details of the Mid-Wales grant for the Development Board for Rural Wales for each of the years after the loss of assisted area status by Mid-Wales in 1980; and if he will indicate the amount of Mid-Wales grant for 1985–86 and 1986–87.
§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe Mid Wales development grant scheme was launched in November 1982. The basic allocation for 1983–84 was £175,000. The figure for 1984–85 is £380,000.
Details of the 1985–86 allocation will be published in the 1985–86 Supply Estimates. Allocations for subsequent years have not yet been determined.
