§ Mr. RidleyThere are no specific grants for concessionary fares. Concessionary fares grant-related expenditure allocations have been, and still are one component of overall GREAs which form part of the mechanism for allocating block grant. It is for each local authority to decide how its block grant allocation is used and the priority it gives to expenditure on particular services, including concessionary fares.
