§ Mr. RidleyThe Tiree radar is part of the National Air Traffic Services' programme to improve and modernise radar facilities in the United Kingdom. It replaces outdated equipment located elsewhere. The new station will improve the coverage of radar used for control of air traffic over Scotland and in the western approaches.
