§ Mr. BrookeThe size of the capped advanced further education pool in England for 1984–85 determined by my right hon. Friend is £580.5 million. The allocation to Stockport MBC is £1.765 million. Outturn expenditure both nationally and in Stockport will not be known until the autumn of next year. My right hon. Friend has determined the size of the capped AFE pool for 1985–86 at £620 million. He expects to announce allocations to authorities later this month after receiving the advice of the National Advisory Body for Local Authority Higher Education.
