Mr. Chris Smith

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many households in London are in receipt of board and lodging allowance for accommodation in bed and breakfast hotels; and if he will provide the information for people aged (a) up to 25 years, (b) 25 to 40 years and (c) over 40 years, giving the average and the total amount of such benefits paid.
