§ Mr. Tony Lloydasked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many qualified town planners were employed in the Manchester regional office of his Department on 31 July; how many were employed there on 1 November; and how many he estimates will be employed there by 1 April.
§ Mr. MacfarlaneEight plus one part-time on each of the first two dates. One of this number will have retired by 1 April 1985. Arrangements are in hand to appoint a suitable replacement.
