§ Mr. John PattenRegional health authorities designate certain special care baby units to provide neonatal intensive care, but such care is also provided by some other such units. Because there is at present no firm definition of intensive care, it is not possible, on a routine basis, to identify and collect centrally details of all the units that give such care.
