§ Mr. Foulkesasked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) if he is satisfied that all signals recorded as having been transmitted (a) from HMS Conqueror to Flag Officer Submarines and (b) from Flag Officer Submarines to HMS Conqueror were properly authorised during the period 1 to 4 May 1982;
(2) if, from the records now available to him, there is any evidence of unauthorised signals being sent (a) from HMS Conqueror to Flag Officer Submarines or (b) from Flag Officer Submarines to HMS Conqueror during the period 1 to 4 May 1982; and if he will make a statement.
