§ Mr. BrookeThe Department has carried out some analysis of the relationship between ethnic background and educational achievement. Some information about the destination of school-leavers from different ethnic groups was published in June 1981 in the interim of the committee of inquiry into the education of children from ethnic minority groups (Cmnd. 8273). I understand that Lord Swann hopes to submit the Committee's final report in the near future.
