asked the Secretary of State for Transport what steps he proposes to take with regard to the Greater London council's proposed heavy lorry ban in inner London at nights and weekends.

I understand that the GLC has now postponed a decision in order to study the thousands of representations that have been made about their proposals, in particular from shops and businesses likely to be adversely affected. No doubt it is also considering whether to hold the public inquiry, for which so many of those European Economic Community country including the United Kingdom for each of the years 1982–83, 1983–84 and 1984–85; and if he will make a statement.

EC member states do not generally administer national retail prices for milk nor are national average retail prices generally available. The table below shows percentage changes in retail prices. In most cases they are based on the month of January compared with the previous January. The figures relate to whole milk but are not all strictly comparable, because of variations in processing, packaging, method of sale and butterfat content. In some instances they include subsidies. No figures are available for Greece.
